Teacher's day

It’s teacher’s day! We celebrated teacher’s day a bit late. It is the first teacher’s day because, our school opened this year. Today, when it was the assembly, Azim and I had to give a short speech since that we are the head students. Azim is the head student and I am the assistant head student. After our speech, the kindergarten students did their performance and other stuff. Next, it was time for breakfast. Then, it was time for the games. The first game was for the teachers that was, poisonous chair. The rules were when the music stops you sit down. After everyone sits down, check under your chair if it says ‘boom’. If it does, then, you’re eliminated. The last person standing, is the winner. The winner was Yusof’s mom, Tc. Maryam. The next game was well, I don’t know what’s the name of the game but, I know how to play the game. The teachers will be blindfolded. Each teacher will have to find a student that they are instructed to find. The students had to be quiet. The teacher who found the right student that they were instructed to find and found the students the earliest, wins. I was with Tc. Fahimah. We took pictures after the games. The primary students went downstairs. I went back home quiet early. I was very tired.

Sports day 2015

Today, we had our  mini sports day. We had been training very hard last week and, here is the day. We are all excited to be having our sports day. I was in the green house. The green house’s cheerleader was Afham. The teacher said, if he doesn’t remember the cheer, I would have to replace him. I told him to memorize cheer every time after the training. He would just keep on saying “Yes okay, okay.”

On the sports day…
“I would like to invite, Afham from the green house to say the cheer.” Said our teacher. Afham walked in front. The teacher gave him the microphone. The moment he held the microphone in his hand, he had forgotten the cheer. “I would like to invite Nuha to come in front to replace Afham.” Said the teacher. I was frozen at first. I felt that I was having a nightmare. I walked in front, and started to say the cheer.

This was the cheer: (Green letters is my words and blue is the member’s words.)
“Emerald ready?”
“Yes!”
“Emerald ready?”
“Yes, yes!”
“Emerald ready?”
“Yes, yes, yes!”

“What we want to be?”
“Winner!”
“What we want to be?”
“Winner!”
“What we want to be?”
“Winner!”

(All together)
“We will win!”
“We will win!”
“We will win!”

(Not together)
“Takbir!”
“Allahuakbar!”
“Takbir!”
“Allahuakbar!”
“Takbir!”
“Allahuakbar!”

As soon as I had finished, the other team said their own cheer. After all of the teams had said their cheer, we marched back to the tent. There I told Afham “Now I know how it feels to be the cheerleader.” “Good. Next time if you’re the cheerleader, you’ll know what to do.” Said Afham.

“First game, Pinocchio!” Said Tc. Haziqah. Pinocchio was a game for the kindergarten students. We all cheered for our own team. I had participated in four games which was Niagara waterfalls, flying rotten egg, chromosome and boomerang. For Niagara waterfalls, emerald got first place, for flying rotten egg second place, chromosome second place and for boomerang we got first place. So, every game that I participated, I didn’t even get third place which was a very great achievement to me. In the end, green house got number one, blue house number two and red house number three. After all the other games only for students, it was time for teacher and students! We were so excited. We had to wrap our teacher from our team house with toilet paper and newspaper, to become a mummy! It was so fun. I wrapped my teacher’s face. But, we didn’t win. The blue team did. There were also games for students and parents. I played ‘Siti Khadijah’ with my mother. The way to play was, with had to crack a tiny hole from the peanut then, clip the peanut on our mom’s ‘tudung’. It was quite fun. My mom and I got second or third place. I didn’t really listen. We went back home after the games. My presents were a water bottle, pencil box, notebook and makers. When we went back home, we were so tired.
