Iftar jamaie with friends at school ramadan day-16

Yesterday, I had Iftar jamaie at school with my friends. It was fun. I’ll tell you all about it.

8.00 am
School started as usual. Prayed Dhuha and learned. Nothing was different.

3.00 pm
School finished. During Ramadan, school finishes at 3 o’clock in the noon. But, during normal months, we finish at 4.30 pm.

After that, we went to the assembly hall because our teacher, teacher Nik, was going to show us some videos. The videos were all very sad. I even cried! When the videos were finished, teacher Nik said we could take a shower and change our clothes. The girls took a shower at the science lab while the boys, took a shower at the girls toilet.

We went to the science lab to take a shower. I was the first one to shower. I took my clothes and soap in with me. Teacher said 5 minutes shower per person. At home, I shower for more than 5 minutes so, I had to be quick. I went into the toilet took of my clothes quickly, on the tap and started showering.

“Hurry up Nuha!” My friend said outside the toilet while banging on the door. “Wait! I’m in the middle of wearing my clothes!” I said. After a few minutes, I came out from the toilet. I went to my bag to take my comb but it wasn’t in my bag. I had finally remembered that I forgot to take while I was at home. So, I left my hair un-combed. I heard some people banging outside the toilet. My friend, Ameera, was in the toilet. I think she bathed much longer than me. He, he, he… When she came out, she was wearing a green Jubaah that had a ribbon at the back. Just like me but my Jubaah was colored blue.

After all the primary four had finished, we were allowed to go out. For your information, I’m primary four. We reached our class but, I could not open the door. Yusof came to the door and said “Afham is changing his clothes.” When Afham was done, the boys opened the door. We took our telekung and went to the prayer hall to pray Asar.

7.30 pm
“Yay! Azan!” I said in my heart. Our Muaddib, Muaddib Faiz read the doa for breaking fast. We ate a date, grapes, curry puff and drank tea. I also drank plain water and ate pineapple tarts.  We prayed maghrib after we ate.

We ate ayam masak merah, butter rice and vegetables. We also ate water melon and drank water melon juice. Before we ate, Azim, my class mate came in his hands, he was holding a jar of chocolate chip cookies. I walked over to him and took one. They were delicious. Yum, yum!!

After Isha and Tarawih, we had our moreh. There were milo or chocolate milk. We could choose which we wanted. My father came after a short while.

I was happy when I got back home…
