Just a short little notice
Hello there dear readers! Tomorrow's the... Wait, no. It can't be! Tomrrow's the-the last day of school!
NO...!!!
The 25th of Nov 2016! Tomorrow! Last day of school! Oh how I'll miss you guys so dearly friends! The intriguing Syaima', the goofy Ameera, the poker face Aleeya, the stylish Haziqah, the groovy Farhannah and the soft Safwa! Safwa may be meek and shy, but her heart's as pure as gold!
The boys, meh I won't miss them that much. Haven't really been a big part of my life. The one who's played a big part has been Syaima', Farhannah, Safwa and Ameera. My ever so loyal friends.
Always there in my time of need. Even though they can be fierce, jokers or more, I still love them as my best friends.
Anyway...
I have a list of what I wanted to achieve this year. And surprisingly, most of them, have been ticked off the list!
Things checked, off the list!
1. Get first once again in 2016! ✓ (Tick!!)
2. Be noticed as the Asst Head prefect! ✓ (Tick!)
3. Made a best friend with a loving teacher ✓ (Tick!)
4. End the year with a smooth ending ✓ (Tick!)
Things not checked off the list!
1. Have a smooth year ❌ (Unfortunately true!)
2. Toughen up ❌ (Meh, not really.)
3. Have the best year of my life ❌ (Hehe... Sadly true!)

Appreciation day 2016
5.30 PM
Auditorium Hospital Sg Buloh
5th Nov 2016 (Yesterday)
My siblings and I arrived at the Auditorium located at Level 3 and the outside of the auditorium was packed, with chatting children. My eyes scanned the hall for my Primary 5 friends and I found them. After saying bye-bye to my father, I ran over to them and they greeted me. We waited in the hall for an hour until one-by-one, each class was called into the auditorium.
6.30 PM
We all went into the backstage and lined up. You cannot believe how crowded it was when we lined up! We had to sit in that position for 3 hours! But like all children, we got restless and started walking out of our line. Even I did. And the teacher caught us doing so and most of us got punished. But, I was swift enough to go back into my line with Haziqah.
9.25 PM
"5 Irfan line up!" Called Teacher Fara. Us the Primary 5 Irfan were the only ones left and were thrilled when we were called. I was in front of 12 other people at the back of me and felt responsible. Was I going to be yet again, first place this year? I thought. Hopefully.
When the Primary 4 students were done receiving their awards, it was the Primary 5 Irfan students' turn. And I was up first!
I looked on the stage and was surprised. My father, the head of the PTA, was giving out the awards! When I walked on stage my father gave me a smile. I reached out my hand for him to salam. And so he did. He even hugged me on stage.
After receiving my awards, I went back to the backstage and read the label. Yusof Al Qardhawi again this year! And, for first place! Yahoo!!
In second place came Haziqah while third came Safwa. Mm. I guess Azim got fourth. Good effort Azim!
Haziqah, Safwa and I were thrilled to be in the top three. My awards are..
Best in BM
Best Archer
Top Reader
Top in class (1st!!)
Best in Huffaz.
The event ended at 10.30 PM. An hour earlier than expected. My family was among the last to leave so I hanged out with my friend, Syaima'. We were congratulated by various people that passed by and each we replied with a thanks or a smile.
When it was time to leave, Syaima' and I said goodbyes and said, "See you on Tuesday!" Monday was going to be a holiday so, yipee!
This year's appreciation day was exciting. Didn't know I was getting first place again this year! Hopefully this will continue till next year and so on!! Amiinnn.... !!

Day 2: UK London, Heathrow (Friday, 9th Sept 2016)
Dear
readers,
If you’re
wondering why there isn’t a day one, it’s because I couldn’t keep track of day
1. But don’t worry, nothing big happened during day one. Anyway, I’m here in
London with my parents, Abah and Ibu; Siblings, Ihsan and Iman; Cousin, Hannah;
And Grandparents Atuk and Nanny. So,
happy reading day 2!
6.15 AM (UK)
1.15 PM
(Malaysia)
My cousin
and I woke up early in the morning for Fajr prayer. After doing so, we took a
bath. My cousin went in first so when she was done, I went in.
The
apartment didn’t have an air-cond nor fan but the outside wind was enough to be
either an air-cond or fan. It was freezing in the night.
After I
finished my bath, I saw Iman and Ibu in the living room. Ibu was cooking fish
fingers while Iman was just goofing around the room like her usual self.
When the
food was ready, I sat down at the table, near the window and enjoyed the
outside breeze. The wind cooled the room.
As I looked down at the opened window, I could see people walking round-about
in town. All of them with different coloured hair; some with blonde hair, some
with auburn hair, some with green hair even! You could rarely see this in
Malaysia.
While I was
looking out the window, Abah and Ihsan came into the room. Them both sat at the
table and ate Ibu’s cooking.
9.30 AM (UK)
4.30 PM
(Malaysia)
All of us
except Atuk, got out of the apartment and went for Bayswater Station which was
located right in front of our apartment. After getting our tickets and going
into the tube, the tube moved.
The tube
made a stop at Paddington Station but, we didn’t get off as our stop was at
Baker Street.
After
Paddington Station was Edgware Road. Almost every passenger got off and we had
the tube to ourselves; well, almost the whole tube.
After
moments of waiting, and the tube didn’t move, Abah said, “I think that this is
our stop.”
I looked at
him and asked why. “Because, the next stop is Paddington Station,” Abah said. “But
we’re going to Baker Street.”
So, we got
off the tube and another tube that was heading to Baker Street arrived a few minutes
later. The 7 of us got on the tube.
A little
later, we reached Baker Street. We got out of the tube, and went walking for
Madame Tussauds; the famous wax museum.
In Madame
Tussauds, Hannah and I took pictures with various wax actors, singers and
fiction characters such as Tom Cruise, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lawrence,
Sherlock Holmes, The members of the boy band One Direction, Star Wars and
Marvel Heroes.
We also
watched shows, got involved in a hunt for Sherlock Holmes, you know, stuff like
that.
After all
the fun, we went to the souvenir shop that was located in the lower part of
Madame Tussauds. There, I bought a black pen that had the writing Madame
Tussads on it.
12.45 PM
(UK)
7.45 PM (Malaysia)
All of the
adventure ended and we all left Madame Tussauds. We went back to the tube
station at Baker Street. We got on the tube and it stopped at Edgware Road; and
that was where we got off.
Minutes
later, another tube arrived and we got on it. The tube moved and off we went to
Paddington but got off at Bayswater Station.
1.20 PM (UK)
8.20 PM (Malaysia)
The 7 of us
reached Bayswater Station and got off the tube. We walked back to our apartment
where Atuk was hungrily waiting. When Atuk heared the doorbell ring from the
outside, Atuk unlocked the door and let us in.
As Hannah
and I were making our way up the stairs, Ibu said, “After putting whatever you
want to put in the room, come back down for lunch!”
“Aww!”
Hannah wined while walking up the stairs. “What’s wrong?” I asked her.
“My legs are
so tired of walking in Madame Tussauds. Then later we have to walk back down
for lunch!” Hannah said.
“I know
right?” I said as I walked up the stairs. But we both knew one thing for a
fact; we don’t go back down, we don’t eat!
1.55 PM (UK)
8.55 PM (Malaysia)
We went back
down and walked to a halal noodle restaurant called, Noodle Oodle. It wasn’t
far so the 8 of us including Atuk, could go there by foot.
We went into
the restaurant. It was just a cute little restaurant. We sat down at a table
and ordered our food.
A few
minutes later, our food arrived and believe me, the food was great! Recommended
for anyone!
2.50 PM (UK)
9.50 PM
(Malaysia)
All of us
finished eating and Abah paid for the food. We all thanked Abah as we walked
back to the apartment.
Ibu and Abah
had to go somewhere to register us for our next trip so left Ihsan and Iman in
my grandparents’ apartment with me and Hannah.
Atuk and
Nanny were tired so they slept on the couch in the living room while Hannah,
Ihsan, Iman and I just minded our own business and tried not to be noisy.
But, at one
point, one by one, each of us, fell asleep on the bed and on the couch.
7.00 PM (UK)
2.00 AM
(Malaysia)
Ibu woke me
up. I opened my eyes and saw everyone awake. Ibu walked back to the kitchen and
she continued to cook. She was cooking tomato soup and the smell picked up my
appetite.
Once the
food was ready, we all sat at the table and digged in. After we ate, we prayed
Maghrib. When prayer was done, we all went to bed.
PS, if you’re
wondering why this post has no pictures, it’s because I forgot to bring my
camera with me. Heh.

Mukhayyam day-2
Second and
final day.
3.30 AM
(Hirasah time.)
Insyiraah,
Ameera, Aisya and me woke up for Hirasah. Same goes to Yusof and three other
boys.
We all
gathered at the non-existing fire place at the benches where there sat Lao Shi
Mohd and Teacher Fara. There, I saw buns, bread and biscuits. I took one bun
and ate it.
“I love
hirasah.” I said with a mouthful of choco bun.
“Do you love
the activity or just the food they prepare at night?” Yusof asked me with a sly
voice.
“Mostly the
food.” I said with a giggle. He shook his head and looked away.
As we sat on
the bench, we read surahs. Suddenly, my stomach ached. “Oh my god my stomach
hurts like crazy.” I said.
“Maybe it’s
because you didn’t wash your hands before eating. Besides, the tent was packed
with sand on the floor.” Ameera said to me.
“Well
whatever I did, I regret.” I said while hugging myself. As we were reading
surah Asy-Syams, suddenly a dog came.
“Dog!”
Shouted Yusof as he pointed to a figure in the distance. We all looked where he
was pointing. Lao Shi Mohd grabbed a rubber whip and walked towards the dog.
From the distance, we all could see what was happening.
Lao Shi Mohd
wasn’t hitting the dog (at least that was what I saw… huhu.) He was just hitting
the rubber whip on the ground to scare it away. After a while, Lao Shi came
back carrying stuff in his hands.
When we
arrived at us, I clearly saw what he was carrying; a mat and some food. One of
the food was anchovies in a plastic.
“Ameera that’s
our anchovies right?!” I whispered to Ameera.
“You’re
right!!” Ameera whispered back.
“One of the
girls’ group left these outside near the table. I think that’s why the dog came;
it smelled the anchovies.” Lao Shi told us. Ameera and I didn’t tell Lao Shi
that it was actually our mat and food. So, we just sat there quietly.
At 3.40 AM,
all of us were told to go around the other groups’ tents for guarding. As I was
doing so, I heard someone snoring from tent number 8 or 7. Aisya and I let out
a giggle and teacher Fara said, “Don’t waste time.”
“Yes
teacher.” I said, still giggling with Aisya.
After we had
done walking around the other tents, we went searching for trash around the
campsite.
“Why in the
world don’t you guys just go and throw your rubbish in the bin nearby? It’s
only like a few feet away!” I said.
“I know
right?” Yusof said.
4.00 AM (End
of hirasah.)
We finished
our hirasah and went to wake up the next hirasah people. After doing so,
Ameera, Insyiraah, Aisya and I went back to our tents. Ameera and Aisya went
back to sleep while Insyiraah and I didn’t. The both of us would have loved to
sleep but couldn’t.
“Oh my god
Hana Humaira smells like coconuts.” Insyiraah said. “And it’s killing me.”
We both let
out a silent laugh. “I’m serious Sister Nuha, she’s killing me with her smell.”
Insyiraah told me.
“Well, we’ll
just have to deal with it for one hour.” I told her.
And believe
me, for that one whole hour, me and Insyiraah just had to bare the smell of
sweat! We would often opened the tent to get fresh air but would later be
caught by the other hirasah team.
“You two can
stay awake but just please don’t make a sound okay?” Said Faiqah, one of the
hirasah team. Insyiraah and I nodded and Faiqah left.
5.00 AM (End
of all the hirasah.)
“Okay, time
to wake up!” I told Insyiraah.
“Uhh
finally!” Insyiraah cheered. “I can’t bare the smell anymore!”
At once, the
both of us woke up the others. After we had done that, Insyiraah and I took our
ablution and went to the hall for Qiyamullail and Subuh prayer.
However, in
the hall, Insyiraah and I couldn’t even open our eyes! We were so sleepy
compared to our condition in the tent! During Qiyamullail, in sujud, I could
hear Insyiraah snoring!
After
Qimullail, we waited for subuh. So, Insyiraah and I slept on the spot. When we
woke up, we both felt so fresh.
8.00 AM
(Breakfast.)
We had to
cook our own breakfast too. Our group had French toast and scrambled eggs. It
was delicious; until Najla and I found eggshells in the French toast.
After
breakfast, we had to wash the dishes. But this time it was easier because not
many stuff was used and burn.
Before we
knew it, we had to go for obstacle run in the jungle. It was a heck of an
activity. There were 10 obstacles and we did all of them I think. When we came
back from the obstacle run, we straight away took water and packed our bags. We
actually packed our bags before the run.
12.50 PM
(Leaving time.)
All of us
were back from the run and lined up according to camping teams. Team after
team, went to take their bags and got into the bus.
When all of
us were in the bus, the bus moved. In the bus, 50% of us slept right away.
1.50 PM (No
place like school. J)
We arrived
at school. I ran into the building where the air-conditioner was cooling up the
room.
“Relieved to
be here huh Nuha??” Syaima’ asked while smiling.
“Like yeah!!”
I replied.
So guys,
that was my camping for two days. In 2 weeks time, a new adventure will be
experienced by me. So just wait, okay? ;)

Mukhayyam day-1
Hey guys!
Just got back from camping or a.k.a, mukhayyam! Held at FRIM by the way.
Actually ended at 2.00 PM at school but then after my dad picked me up we went
to go look for a few things.
First day.*
9.00 AM (At
school).
We all
gathered in the downstairs hall after breakfast. We lined up in our camping
groups and waited for the bus; the boys were going to board the first bus so we
girls had to wait for the second bus to come.
While
waiting for the second bus, Teacher Noraini made us say the asma-ul-husna.
Right after we finished, the second bus arrived and we boarded the bus. My
group was the first one to go on.
9.40 AM
(Time of arrival).
With
excitement, we all got off the bus and followed Teacher Noraini on a rocky pathway.
The walk was kind of tricky as for some of us were bringing big bags.
When we all
got to the campsite, we all left our bags near the assemble hall and went down
to the campsite. I looked up and saw that our campsite was called ‘Kem Perah’.
10.00 AM
(Time of camp event starting).
We had a
talk from one of the staff there. His name was Bohari but we could call him
Brother Bo. He gave us a briefing on the place. FRIM’s history, things to do
and things not to do, certain places for certain needs and more.
We all
listened very carefully as we knew that all these information would turn out to
be useful later. It turns out that you can’t even pluck out a leaf from the
trees there; how strict is that rule?
10.30 AM
(The real start).
Brother Bo
finally finished talking. After that, we had to set up our tents. And man was
that a real challenge! The metal bars were tied up, it was so, so very hard to
get the tent out of the bag. The other groups were doing fine while it seemed
like my group was the only one that was suffering from difficulties.
11.00 AM
(Finished setting up tents.)
We finished
setting up the tents. After that activity, we had many more such as jungle
tracking, sewing class and not to forget lunch and Zuhur prayer.
Jungle
tracking involved mosquitos all over your body and cicadas making buzzing
sounds that creep the heck out of you. After jungle tracking my body was full
of mosquito bites and I was scratching all over.
6.00 PM (Fun
time beginsJ.)
We had to
cook dinner! Of course with the help of our facilitators. But yet it was
challenging. Everyone in our group had a job to do. One of our members by the
name of Hana, accidentally hit her finger with the knife while cutting the
spinach.
Because of
that she was excused from doing any work that involves washing or sharp things.
7.00 PM
(Success!)
We finished
cooking and ate. We had sardines, rice and spinach. It was delicious.
After dinner
we all had to clean our pots, trays and materials. The problem was that some of
them were burnt and we had to clean off the burn stains which took an hour to
do.
8.00 PM (After
the washing.)
We prayed
and guess what? Ameera, Najla, Balqis and I still hadn’t bathed! All because we
had to clean off the burn stains. My skin that was on my finger had pealed off because
of the scrubbing, my hijab was totally black too!
After
maghrib prayer, the four of us zoomed off to the toilet for a bath. After that
we ran back to the assemble hall to pray Isha’.
After Isha’
we had other activities such as a short lecture by Mr.Rahman, a lesson on how
to aid your friend when he or she is injured and also had supper.
12.00 AM
(Bed time.)
We all got
into our tents and went to sleep. We soon had to wake up for Hirasah at 3.30
AM-4.00 AM.
So, guys I
think that I’ll continue the next part tomorrow Insha-Allah.

What I did during the last three days of my holiday.
So, what did I do? Oh yeah! I joined a short film workshop that was held at Maju Junction. The teachers were:
1. Ahmad Zulhilmi Sobri
2. Zabidi Mohamed
The teachers there were kind. About the students, there were eleven of us. On the first day of our workshop, eleven of us were divided into two groups. My group had five people while the other group had six. My group members were:
1. Aizat (The creative one).
2. Wahbah (The quirky one).
3. Jannah (The cheerful one).
4. Archanaa (The sporting one).
5. Nuha (Me. The 'just following orders one').
First day:
We learned about how to take pictures and learned about the things what a good short film has.
The things that a good short film has:
1. The viewers won't be able to guess what will happen next.
2. The viewers want a continuation even though the story has already ended.
3. The film will have more action than dialogue*
4.The show will teach the viewers a lesson that they'll always remember.
*they can talk when needed.
When we were divided into groups, we were instructed to come up with a short film in a group.
Of course, the eldest such as Jannah, Archanaa and Aizat came up with ideas first. Wahbah and I just sat on our chair quietly. and listened. Our story was going to be about a dishonest man. But we'll get to that later.
"So whose acting?" Asked Aizat.
"Of course the youngest in our group." Said Jannah as she referred to me and Wahbah.
"What? No, no, no." I said.
"Yeah. The eldest should show more courage." Said Wahbah as he gave out a smile.
"Okay so, our story is like this..." Said Archanaa. And that's how we all became friends.
Day two:
We had to act our film out. So we did. For beginners we were actually pretty good. But, suddenly we had to change our plans.
"What? Last minute work?" I asked.
"Yeah. It turns out the plan that we have now is too hard to be acted out by some teens." Said Aizat.
"So? Now what?" Said Jannah as she hugged herself.
"Oh! I know!" Said Aizat. Now, the story was about two girls, in a mall. Wanting to buy food. And suddenly, a man comes and snatches the girl's wallet. And so on.
So, Wahbah the camera filmed the whole thing. The plan was actually good enough; surprisingly for us beginners.
Last day:
The day that we showed our film to our parents. After showing our film, each one of us got certificates. And that, was the last time we saw each other. But we took each others contacts to keep in touch.
To see our short film, go to Zabidi Mohamed's facebook.
Bye!

Sports day-2016
Hello! I just came back from my sports day event. I'll tell you guys about it. :)
Somewhere
around 7.50 AM we finished breakfast and went to SMK Bukit Rahman Putra; where
our sports day was being held. I was in the blue team which is Sapphire, my
little brother (primary one) in the red team which is Ruby and my little sister
(5 years old) in Topaz which is yellow. Why did my team house change this year
you ask? Well, I don’t know. All of this depends on the teachers. Back to the
story.
8.00 AM
We reached
SMK Bukit Rahman Putra. There, I asked Miss Azlin our school’s admin, where I should
go. She told me to go to a tent that was at the very end of the field. So, I
ran.
“There’s
Nuha! Running over here!” I heard my friend Haziqah who was in the Emerald team
said. I smiled. When I reached the tent, Yasmine who was also in Sapphire said,
“Sister Nuha! Sister Nuha! You have to where this!”
I looked up.
I took what was in her hands and smiled from ear to ear. It was a masquerade
mask that was blue in colour. “Why do I have to where this mask?” I asked
Yasmine.
“Because,
you’re our leader remember?” She said.
The mask
looked something like this:
Teacher Shikin
helped me to put the mask on. “You look stunning.” Said Syaza who was in the
Sapphire team as well. “Thank you.” I said.
“Haziqah,
Haziqah. Do I look beautiful in this mask?” I asked Haziqah. She turned around,
looked behind and commented, “Did you just come back from a dance?”
We both
laughed. “You do look beautiful.” She said. I smiled.
Minutes
later, we all had to line up to get ready for our marching.
“Okay! REST
line up!” Our teacher, muallim Awi said. What’s ‘REST’ you ask? It’s:
Ruby
Emerald
Sapphire
Topaz
See? REST. Now, back to the story.
As we lined up, other students came
as well. “Now the students are allowed to march.” Said our MC which was Mr.
Rahman.
It started off with Ruby, then
Emerald. Then after that, was Sapphire. We marched. “And here comes the
Sapphire team. With their mascot wearing a masquerade.” Said Mr. Rahman. I
smiled wanting to laugh at myself. But, I held it in. And went on marching.
As soon as all of us were finish
marching. We sang the asma ul husna, Negaraku, the school and sports day anthem
and ‘Bingkai Kehidupan’. After that there was gymrama for primary 1 and kindergarten
students.
And also an archery demo which
involved me and my other friends. Next we rested and ate a bit. Then started playing some
games. I ran 100 meters run, 4x100 meters and skipping. I got second for 100
meters run, third for 4x100 meters run and didn’t get anything for skipping ‘cause
my team got last for that game. After all those games, it was time to go back.
We went to A&W for lunch. Then
went straight back home. It was a tiring day…
Friday, 29 January 2016
Made it through this morning.
Yahoo! I made it through this morning being the MC for today's assembly! I realized that the MC didn't have to say so many things. Just like 6 or 5 paragraphs that only had about 20 to 30 words. But really, I don't want to be the MC ever AGAIN. That's all bye!
Thursday, 28 January 2016
Oh tomorrow!
Oh tomorrow! I have been chosen to be the MC for the assembly for tomorrow! Oh why?! I get stage fear whenever I do something like that! I can't relax of keep calm! The word 'tomorrow' just gives me the running away feeling. Oh why oh why me?! It was unbelievable, unspeakable! It's a good thing that my friends Aleeya and Haziqah have been helping me out for the past 3 days. Thank you my dear friends! Please pray for the best for me.
Well, until the next post, bye! ✌π
