My Home Preperation for Eid-ul-Fitr.

EID MUBARAK DEAR READER!
(I know it's one day early but I'm going to be seriously busy tomorrow.)

Alright, so after 29 days of fasting (if you're a muslim), this is our reward! We get to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with the feeling that we have achieved something grand!

Anyway,
My family this year, thought of decorating our house. Not the ENTIRE house but only one part of the house in which is the wooden part.

Last night, my father and I spent almost HALF AN HOUR in the decorative light section, 'debating' on which light was better. My father couldn't make up his mind as he was being very indecisive (I would've expected that from ladies such as my mother but from my father? Hahaha.)

After half-an-hour, we chose 2 boxes of decorative lights shaped in 'ketupats' and 8 ground oil lamps, 4 coloured in dark blue and 4 in bright brown.

Today, we put up all the decorations!

The decorative lights were hanged at the opening of the house's wooden part. Apparently, there wasn't enough of the decorative lights! So my father has to go back to the store later today (hope he doesn't buy a different box of lights though. Hahaha.)

As for the oil lamps, they were planted into the ground, decorating our miniature grass land. We started with the bright brown oil lamp, then the dark blue lamp and the pattern continued on until the side of our grass land had oil lamps decorating it.

I had fun doing this stuff. Taking pictures as we decorated. Not only did we decorate the house but us, the girls, decorated ourselves as well.

We treated ourselves to some henna (inai)!
This is my sister's hand with henna.

Alright, I think that's all for now. Again, EID MUBARAK to you and your family! Hope we come out as better people from this Ramadan and better in the next Ramadan, Insha Allah.

Jzk!!
